captivating..listened all through in 4 days
i always wondered about the details of the WoW universe and wished to know more. This was a perfect book to enter the history of wacraft although i must admit that i often had to google some of the names as I missed a description as to how the creatures would actually look... suppose it is assumed you would know most characters when you read

A sluggish narrative style that bogs down an already sparse plot with endless inner monologues.
The storytelling style is incredibly boring. Very little happens – in "Rise of the Horde," the story follows the creation of the Orcish Horde on Draenor. The Orcs, originally peaceful tribes, are corrupted by Gul'dan and the demonic influence of the Burning Legion. Under his leadership, they begin to turn against the Draenei, ultimately transforming into the brutal war-hungry Horde we know. Unfortunately, the narrative is overly focused on the characters' inner thoughts, which causes the story to stagnate and progress very slowly. Additionally, the narrative voice is not particularly engaging, making it difficult to fully immerse oneself in the story.
