dnf - this book made me so angry
i could not take it anymore. both MC were horrible. the male MC was such an asshole. the way he Treated the heroine was appauling. he caused her desolate Situation out of sheer pettiness because she rejected him after a 2 week courtship, he has her persecuted as a thief and then bought her Indenture for her to Serve him. and then took advantage of her sexually once he had her in his home all the while treating her like shit. even when she -for once- set boundaries he walked all over them by using her body against her. the female MC was no better: a spineless, weak, stupid,stupid character with an invitation to anyone to walk all over her. for instance there has been already an attempt of rape once she was alone and allthough she was told there dwells a known mad rapist in the forrest she attepmts to run away alone without any Protection or Preparation through the Woods, where of course she gets almost raped again. I hated every second of this book I waited for a turning point but after 50% i could not bear it anymore. I am so mad espaecially bc hannah howell wrote one of the cooles heroines in an other book, so I did not expect such a sad excuse of a heroine in this one. keep away!
