It's a bit like the Stephanie Plum novels but with a fresher touch. Diesel is the main male charcter here and - well - if you know Diesel you know what I mean - hot - outspoken - but never too much.
Carl reappears, too and we get to know a lot funny sidecharacters, too.
All in all it is a funny chick lit with some supernatural touches, the ideas are interesting and I want to know how the story conitnues.
For a good laugh and a day at the pool - I highly recommend it.
