Parallelen zu heute
Ich habe mir eine Geschichte zur Apokalypse schon lange gewünscht, um mir den geschichtlichen Hintergrund besser vorstellen zu können. Die Parallelen zur heutigen Zeit dringen auch bei dieser Serie durch und zeigen uns, wer Fürst dieser Welt ist bzw. war. Oder zumindest bald nicht mehr sein wird. Brian habe ich viel zu verdanken. Ich hoffe, es gibt bald eine Übersetzung auf deutsch. Die Geschichte wird aus mehreren Perspektiven geschrieben. Aus der Perspektive von Christen, Römern, aber hauptsächlich begleiten wir einen jüdischen Arzt namens Alexander, der als Jude ständig Kompromisse zwischen seinem Glauben und seinem Überleben schließen muss. Gehorcht er seinen römischen Vorgesetzten nicht, bringt er sich und seine Glaubensbrüder in Gefahr. Brian lässt immer wieder Teile der Apokalypse einfließen und verbindet die Zeilen mit seiner eigenen Gschichte. Danke Brian und Danke an alle, die mir wissenstechnisch halfen, an diesen Punkt zu kommen, um zu verstehen, warum die Welt so ist, wie sie ist.
