I was suspicious in the beginning. So often YA fantasy romance is an oversexualised mess. But this book tells such a cute love story, pulls you in an amazing world of wonder, and has a mystery to uncover. In my opinion this is the perfect mix for anyone who loves fantasy with a touch of mystery. The characters are intriguing and the relationships between them are warm und friendly. I detected no toxic relationships but amazing family ties and friendships who grow and comfort.
I recommend this book to anyone who wants their heart warmed.
