Tongue and Daphne’s story is primal, animalistic, raw, certainly bloody but also crazy and heartbreakingly beautiful, they just fit perfectly. Daphne is mesmerized by this weird but handsome stranger. She is trying to hide her own struggles and sees something in Tongue that draws her to him. He hides in the shadows getting obsessed with protecting Daphne and loving her. He´ll do anything for his Comet.
Oh wow, seriously what a story, Abso-freaking-lutely perfect! Each book is better than the last. I certainly get why he is one of the favourites. He certainly is a lovable psychopath.
The narration, OMG, Joe Arden and Maxine Mitchell are the perfect audio pairing. Their emotions playing off one another and this performance is truly mind-blowing. ALL. THE. FEELS!
