Die Geschichte ist spannend, ab und zu lustig… Man möchte auf alle Fälle weiterhören. Manche Ereignisse fand ich an den Haaren herbeigezogen aber nicht soo schlimm, dass es keinen Sinn ergibt! Die Erzähler machen zwar einen guten Job- aber es gibt viel bessere ( sie sind laut, wenn es nur ein Flüstern sein sollte etc…) Der Schnitt lässt auch zu wünschen übrig - zu viele Pausen! Oft mitten im Satz, sodass ich dachte mein Handy wäre ausgegangen. Trotzdem ist die Geschichte fesselnd und ich möchte wissen, wie es weitergeht!

The story:
It was somewhat interesting. I had some problems with it thought, there is little world build and we don't understand why some humans have powers, why humans coexist with fae, and how the dynamic between the two species work. I also have mixed feelings towards the main characters. The FMC doesn't have a growing arch, the only thing that changes about her is that she gets progressively more enraged about everything. We learn close to nothing about the MMC, and he goes from distant to suddenly puppy following the FMC and taking her orders! Didn't make sense.
Even thought I'm a bit curious about what would happen next, I'm not sure if I'm buying the next books.

The narration:
Dear Lord, it was a pain. I know there's a lot of time and effort in their work, but the random mid sentence pauses were driving me mad. Overall, it might not have been their best work.

I don't know how to feel about this book

The storyline is good but the female narrator ruined the whole book, she is really not fit for a narrator, it’s like she is just reading the book but not living it and she makes some noises while she is speaking like swallow or catching for air. The worst is that she can’t change voices, they sound weird.

I was also wondering why an American accent person is reading the book when the vocabulary is more British English.

Good that I didn’t pay for it because it was included in my membership.

I hope the narrate the book again!

Die Kritik an der Sorecherin kann ich nicht bestätigen, beide lesen toll. Die paar Pausen an ungewohnten Stellen sind nicht weiter störend. Insgesamt eine tolles Hörerlebnis und eine spannende Geschichte.
