Über diesen Titel

Annja Creed jumps at the chance to join a fellow archaeologist on a quest to find a relic. But she's not so thrilled about northern Siberia, where they are hoping to discover something buried in the long-undisturbed soil of Russia's frozen terrain. When they reach the town of Jakutsk, Annja is put off by its gray landscape and highly superstitious inhabitants. They claim they are being hunted. Then one of the Villagers goes missing.

The locals blame the Khosadam, a ghost of a fallen goddess said to ingest the souls of the departed. But there are no fresh graves. She is now hunting the living. When Annja seeks to destroy the apparition, she discovers an even more horrifying truth — and may have hit a dead end.

So far the worst nonsense of the series

Okay, the Rogue angel series are dime novels and there is not much depth or finesse to be expected, only some somewhat entertaining storytelling.
This part the of series though is just plain ridiculously bad.
The story is just outright plain nonsense with thing journeying by bike without any equipment through Siberia. Ending up in a village that pretty much run by a mad scientist that does experiment with people to make super soldiers that sustain themselves by cannibalism. Having all the evidence of the world that said scientist can’t be trusted in any way, to save her friend and the guard he hired, she three times make deals with the madman instead of just outright killing him for all the horrors he inflicted. The story drives itself so far into the corner of dumbness, that the end the cavalry has to save the day.
