Interesting Audiobook

I listened to this audiobook just after finishing the last of the current books in the Skulduggery-Pleasant-Series (Until the End). It was very nice listening to it, and even tough this is the very first audiobook I've ever listened to (more a fan of actual books, they don't need a battery, they don't need headphones) I found it quite compelling. Additionally, since I've read every one of the books compelled in the "Grimoire" in German, it was a nice experience hearing the story in its original language. I also very much liked the Irish accents, especially the one of Valkyrie, and how their commentary to the past stories enrichened the experience. The storyline of the audiobook itself was also a nice addition I don't think could be as easily conveyed if one read the book instead of listening to it. What I kind of missed was a recap of the last book too, and, related to the storyline behind the archivists, a resolve to that by Skulduggery Pleasant and Valkyrie Cain. I don't want to spoil too much, but since this characters were involved in the creation of the audiobook it would have made more sense if they were more active in the audiobooks own lore.

To sum it up, a great audiobook to listen to.
