This series is my absolute number one Roman Empire. It’s everything and this was the perfect conclusion to a series that had captured my whole heart. I feel so so so connected to the characters and story and intricacy of magic. This is ultimately what this series is: magical. I want to cry a river because it’s over now and it took me months before I was ready for it. I’m not truly. But it was a worthy and fantastic end. Also, narration was absolute perfection!
