Die Storyline ist ganz gut und durchweg unter Spannung gehalten. Kleine Details aus Beziehungen lassen die Protagonistin sehr lebendig und echt wirken. Die Sprecherin hat einen hervorragenden Stimmenstil für die verschiedenen Charaktere. Empfehlung: durchaus hörenswert.

I absolutely loved The Shallows! The story was so interesting, mysterious, and full of tension that I found myself listening every chance I got. It’s one of those rare books that pulls you in right from the start and keeps you hooked until the very end.

I really connected with the characters and their emotions felt so real that I could truly feel for them as the story unfolded.

The narrator did an incredible job! Her performance was so expressive and engaging, and her voice is absolutely amazing. It added so much depth and atmosphere to the story.

A beautifully written, haunting, and captivating listen. I’ll definitely be looking out for more by Holly Craig and more audiobooks narrated by this talented voice!

So Captivating, I Couldn’t Stop Listening

It started out good, but the story lost it's momentum on the way. The characters left you with ambiguous feelings. Unfortunately some main characters (the husbands, the lover) weren't explored properly. Some much potential wasted.
