Evocation of Greek Myths

…. which, by default, must run the course of tragedy. Haddon is a wizard of words, and it’s nothing short of amazing how an author can be so empathic and cruel to his characters all at once. Absolutely riveting. Greek myths are ever so popular in modern writing (Miller, Haynes, Barker), but rather than getting tedious, this one is shining.
