Another well done book, a bit much unnecessary side storys this time. Plot progression, yes, but it feels like there's not much character progression. The finale wasn't satisfying. Definitely a recommendation, but there are better in the series.

Tolles Hörbuch aber diese ganzen nebenstorys sind mir echt zu viel ich habe alle übersprungen! Lenken von den Hauptkarakteren ab und zerstören den Geschichts Flow für mich leider es wäre schöner wenn sich die Geschichte auf weniger Charaktere richtet .

Die Geschichte wurde ganzheitlich aus verschiedenen Perspektiven, welche die Sicht der Protagonisten zu einen großen Weltbild vereinen geschrieben. Es blieb alles den vorherigen Bücher mit der herausragenden Erzählung treu.

You can omit this book without missing anything relevant for the main story. On top of that there is lots of side stories & parallel/dream world stuff happening which is even irrelevant in the scope of the filler. So this book is more like a 10-11 hour deal.
Confusingly, there is extremely little to no emphasis put on the reward aspect of minkalla. The whole reason for the existence of the last 2 books is minkalla and the extreme risk and exceptional rewards that can be obtained. However in this progression novel, the floor rewards and loot are almost completely neglected to a degree that they are either only briefly mentioned in one or two sentences or sometimes omitted. Which rewards did he get? Which skills does he chose, which skills does he combine? What are the candidates? Why does he go for a particular choice? Questions left unanswered!
What is the point in sending the main character into a dangerous "crucible" to gain power, but leaving Matt unfased, feeling exactly the same before, during and after entering? Give descriptions of Matts thoughts about how changes, e.g., gained skill slots, new powers, traumata, will affect his future or how he thinks about his chances of reaching or failing his goals!
