I discovered this book by chance and since I liked the content I just wanted to try it out. The story is written in the first person perspective and we accompany the view of Lia and Conri. When I got into the story, I was insecure because I really had trouble understanding if we were to follow. But I have to say as soon as I got further it got better from chapter to chapter and I got along better. I especially liked the characters, I really liked Conri and his two friends. Lia, on the other hand, was a bit difficult for me to understand, but it got better as the book went on. I also liked the plot with the Forgotten Kingdoms and especially who plays what and I can't wait to see what awaits me. Overall it was a tough start, but it got better for me as the book went on and I really enjoyed following the stories of both of them. I'm also really excited to see what has happened and what is still in store for us.
