Great read
I throughly enjoy Lucinda Riley’s books, they just transport you to another world, while they all have A similar story framework - the hidden past and the search for answers, she is a great story teller successful weaving the different cultures and societies of each of her characters to create a fascinating backdrop for her stories.

An Indian/British Love story in the 1920‘s and today
Wow, I felt like I was part of the interwoven Story in the 1920‘s and nearly a century later bitte in India and GB. I learned a lot about the royalties and palaces of India and felt like I was transported there. The different accents made it very easy to follow the story and persons. Incredible. Towards the end it felt like a bit too much for me but then the very end sealed it all again which I will not spoil here…. Enjoy!

Good listen
Read so well, the reader has the ability to switch from one person to the next, using fabulous accents. I didn’t want it to finish!

Tragödie mit unerwarteten Wendungen
Die Geschichte ist wirklich wahnsinnig traurig und bewegend. Als Mutter haben mich einige Kapitel besonders berührt. Die Wendungen waren unerwartet und der Schluss trotz allem Traurigen irgendwie magisch (der Epilog).

Great!
I loved the story and heard almost without a pause :-D After the 7 sisters and some more stories i became a fan of Lucinda. Sad that there will be no more stories from her.

I absolutely adored it!
I listened to the entire 7 sisters series and then followed with this story. I felt it was even more engaging that the series itself, if that is possible. I loved the characters, the story, the setting .. all
Is marvelous in Lucinda’s stories.

Bewegende Geschichte
Bei den Werken von Licinda Riley taucht man als Leser immer komplett ein in die Welt der Geschichte.
Wunderbar geschrieben.
Leider hat die Sprecherin wenig Varianz in ihrer Stimme. Vor allem bei den männlichen Figuren passt ihre Stimme sehr schlecht.
Aber sie spricht sehr deiutlich und angenehm.
