Bodies are thrown into the meat grinder, but the outer redoubts cannot possibly hold for long, even with the loyal primarchs to reinforce them.

For Horus has his own generals to call upon. Between the plague weapons of Mortarion and the fury of Angron, the defenders face a losing battle.

Amazing voice performance by Keeble, Some characters sounds absolutely breathtaking. The story escalates perfectly and we get a look at all levels of the siege. Horus, his servants, Primarchs in orbit, the mechanicum, Space Marines in the planet and the individual soldiers. Especially the perspective of the soldier Katsuhiro who is pressed into the guard is gripping and grounds everything else. All this comes to a great close, I can't wait to start the next book!

I'm loving the siege of Terra series. Shining a light on many different legions, custodians, sisters of silence and normal guardsmen. Really great books.

Warhammer as of late is... Weird. Woman acting like toxic males i.e stoic, brash, hard is regarded as stunning and brave. But dudes have to simp for them. The plot is okay but yeah it Kind of breaks the immersion. But thats the new warhammer i guess, made for the magical modern audience
