I loved this story about a highly intelligent but painfully shy young woman, a fascinating foreigner and the fight for women’s rights. I simply couldn’t put it down. I learned a lot about the fight for a woman‘s right to own property and to vote, wrapped in the story of a sizzling attraction between two people from different cultures. I warmly recommend the whole series. Wonderful writing, Evie Dunmore!
