It felt like most of it was the main characters struggles with her feelings and her family. The Love Montage bits felt slightly more like fast telling what happened and all the other non romance things were more elaborate, detailed/ more in the moment. They even say in the book that in movies the gay couple only has very little kisses.. they had more kisses but in general I expected a lot more romance moments. A little disappointed. Expected more.
