interesting book

my first book by May Sage, I was really curious, the preview looked good, I purchased ebook as well as audiobook, which I rarely do anymore, I try to lend mostly books from Kindle Unlimited, although I do buy some, when they are worth it. I can't say this isn't worth the money but sadly it wasn't really my speed either. Very well written, I have to give the author that, great description, kept me interested the whole book, I just didn't expect to be there whole bunch of main characters, so many storylines, which interlude between one another. Which makes the whole book definitely NOT boring but to chaotic for my taste. I also prefer linear or mostly strait storylines and two (or more characters but known from the beginning like reverse harem book), not jumping form one to the other and back. As well as jumping in time like 20 years later. It felt not fluent although I understand that the main protagonist will live for thousands of years. But still. All in all really good book just not for my taste.
Despite not being my cup of tea, I really, really loved both narrators, who did an excellent job! Thank you very much! I'm looking forward to hear their voices in another audiobook!
