Insightful story of the 2008 financial crisis
The audiobook provides an insightful, surprisingly balanced and reflective story of Mr Bernankes time as FED chairman, particularly his handling of the 2008 financial crisis. He reveals how central banks cooperated with other institutions, how discussions were shaped among the experts and what priorities they had during the crisis. Of course some intrinsic motivation to deal with financial markets is necessary to enjoy this book, but it is worth listening to! Grover Gradner narrates it well
