The City is an immense metropolis of crystal spires and wondrous magic. Beneath is the Dungeon, a vast underground world, and a source of endless treasure guarded by grotesque and deadly monsters. No one knows where the Dungeon came from, or why.

Any who would dare face the dangers and riches of the Dungeon must first be transformed into a delver, a quasi-immortal creature whose every attribute is defined by numbers. Yet, the "immortality" offered is but illusory, for without consuming the crystal found only within the Dungeon, a delver will inevitably die.

One young immigrant braves the Dungeon to remit money to his family, only to find much, much more. Friends, power, and secrets of the Dungeon.

... for people familiar with dungeons and or games. If you read other litrpg and want a fresh way to tackle the genre this is for you.

This has become my favourite book over time I listened to it 5 times already currently on my 6th, despite having over 200 titles on audible I come back to it every few months, only gets better.

I Love the Story telling and the diving, sometimes a little breaser would have been welkome but All in all i just hope there is more like it in the making!

na ja World-building etc. hat mir alles gut gefallen, aber die Story fande ich etwas schwach - er hat als eimziges Ziel Geld für seine Familie zu verdienen. Leider war das nicht ganz was ich mir erhofft hatte auch wenn "der große Raid" :) recht spannend war - mehr erkunden, entdecken, dabei aufleveln, stärker werden und immer tiefer ins Dungeon vorzudringen und stärkere Monster zu bekämpfen wäre nicht schlecht gewesen
