I straight up binged through this book and I LOVED it. Awesome scene setting, great stroy-telling. I really felt like I am in Louisiana with all the characters. Can't wait for the next one.

I came to this story and the beautiful author through the podcast Morbid. Although I’ve said that I am left in the dark, the podcast will help me to get through the time until the next chapter comes. The story is amazing! The author is very descriptive in her telling. You can picture the scenes and characters very well and let your imagination run wild. Can’t wait for the next sequel!

The story itself is not very long but is being dragged out by very detailed descriptions that are not necessary for the story.
I am not a big fan of the female voice as it sounds like a whisper most of the time and makes listening harder.
