Entgegen einiger Rezensionen muß ich sagen, dass ich von der Sprecherin begeistert war. Sie hat den typisch englischen Humor trocken rübergebracht, so dass ich laut im Auto lachen musste. Die Stimme war angenehm und gut zu verstehen.
Die Geschichte ist kurzweilig und gut geschrieben. Ich freue mich bereits auf den nächsten Teil im nächsten Jahr.

I really loved this book! It has the same quality as the last two in terms of story. Still love the charactera, still love the clever twists and turn.
The new narrator does a decent job. It must be hard to fill those roles when another person has already given them their perfect voices. I must say, that this narrator lacks a bit of the power in their voice to believably talk for those absolute power women in the story. Everyone sounds a bit more frail and old and sometimes even quite tired. This unfortunately does not work for me. However, I appreaciate that the new narrator at least tried to have some of the different characteristics right. I could tell that she listened to the previous narrator and put her own spin on it.

Clever, funny, entertaining and with lovable characters, this is a great story. It perfectly follows the first two books in this series and further develops each character and introduces several new ones. Although highly unbelievable, the plot twists and changing relationships make for an enjoyable read. The speaker has changed from the last book but was also brilliant.

Lesley Manville was brilliant and brought all characters to loveable life. Fiona Shaw kind of lispels and constantly changes volume. Very sad and disapointing!

Loved the previous two, now disapointed

Suspenseful story, unexpected bends, British humour. Philosophic and thoughtful.
Speaker has a bit a whispery voice that sometimes makes it a bit hard to listen to the story. As non-native English-speaking person and wearing hearing-aids that are connected via Bluetooth to my phone it's however still ok.
I'm looking forward to listen to further stories of the Thursday Murder Club!
