Über diesen Titel
Adrian Gottlieb is winning at life. He's a successful video game designer with everything a man could ask for, including a warm, comfy ride to Denver and a date for his sister's wedding. But he finds himself in need of a total reboot when he's left stranded at a snowy campground in Utah. Holiday plans? Epic fail.
That is until Noah Walters offers him shelter for the night and a reluctant cross-country ride. Nothing about the ultraconservative geoarchaeologist should attract Adrian, but once he discovers Noah's hidden love for video games, the two connect on a new level. Soon a quiet but undeniable chemistry sparks.
Something doesn't add up, though. As the miles accumulate and time runs out, Noah must face the most difficult choice of his life. Meanwhile, Aidan must decide whether he's ready to level up. Is their relationship status worth fighting for, or has this game ended before it's even begun?

Feel good story
First, I have to say that I am a big fan of the narrator Sean Crisden! He is funny, and has a real talent doing voices 😉 always happy to find an audiobook that he is involved in.
The story is a very sweet one about the closeted Noah who lives in a motorhome, mainly because of money and his dog, and the game designer Adrian, who, on the way to a wedding, got dumped by his “date”, and found himself stranded in the middle of nowhere. Of course, Noah is picking him up, and together they drive to the wedding and… you know.
It is a very simple, very predictable story. The bucket tacked “homo-romance-stereotypes” was emptied on the pages, and of course there is a happy ever after – but all in a good way! If you are looking for a story that focuses heavily on the romance, but still manages to not overwhelm you, as well as keeping the world around them alive: this one for you.
I gave 3 stars on the story, because I am missing an edge. BUT (I really want to point that out) the book is surviving without it just fine! It is one of those that I would think about reading again, yet I am not sure If I would really.
