Unsurprisingly, I loved this audiobook. I'm a great fan of this author and listening to the first book in this for me new series didn't disappoint. Neither did the narrator who breathes extra life into the characters in her to me already familiar quirky, charming style.

Book 1 introduces a young woman who works at an office but dreams of owning her own bakery. Luck strikes and she finally gets the money together to make her dream come true. until disaster strikes and she loses it all. Almost...

This fun, easy-to-get-lost-in cosy mystery introduces us to a host of interesting characters that practically leap off the page. In my mind's eye,I could see the beautiful island, the baking contest and all the adventures our quirky, kind, yet rather accident-prone heroine experiences.

Simply enchanting and great as a read or in audio format. So grab a steamy cuppa, settle down in your favourite cosy reading chair and let yourself be taken on a flight to France. I promise, it won't take long before you wonder whether you're a magickal creature yourself without knowing it. It's simply spellbinding!
