Since my career took off, I barely have time to breathe, let alone keep my life in order. I’m naturally chaotic, make terrible decisions, and scare off potential dates with my “weirdness”.

So when Payne gets back into town and needs somewhere to stay, I offer him my spare room with one condition: While he’s staying with me, I need him to help me become date-able.

And while he does that, I can focus on my other plan: ignoring that Payne is the only man I’ve ever wanted to date.

Binged the audiobook on a rainy sunday and don't regret it. Didn't feel trope heavy and I liked the non homophobic environment with two out characters. The mains were believable and consistent (if somewhat conveniently complementary, but hey) with good chemistry and developement. Liked the supporting cast as well. Very few women in there, which is kind of common for a M/M and doesn't really matter to the story here. It's not the dwc after all (even though I'd be in for that). As is also common for series like this we get introduced to the cast and their potential romantic interests for the next few volumes. But it mostly happens in chunks here and there on the side througout the story, hence isn't as annoying or feels like an ad (personal opinion) as it usually is/does.
Voice acting is top notch 👍🏻 leaves me curious if the voices given to the characters will be canon througout the series.
Definitely worth a re-listen at some point :)
