what a ride
I loved this book so much. first of All the narrators, oh These voices - like honeyed Whiskey.mmmmmh! the story - so powerful. the end - so amazingly satisfying!! the characters so aproachable and likeable and human, which is odd because it is very unlikely to wver meet such persons in your everyday life. i typically would deduct a Star when the story is such a slow burn. but I did not mind it here. the slow burn was due to Trauma and not to miscommunication or any of that. It was very well done. the communication here was top notch. i loved everything: the story, the characters and the bloody end.

Der Sprecher holt vieles raus
Very Slow burn. Themen wie häusliche Gewalt und Mafia History machen die Geschichte spannend, teilweise aber auf intensiv. Das Buch hätte für mich auch 2 Stunden früher enden können, war gespannt ob noch was kommt…
