eye opening educated and beautifully worded
It made me want to read all those classics as well as feel sad for the fate of women in Iran.
a country I would nevertheless love to visit

A levature in Literature under the Veil
A vivid account of the experience of the difficulties woman were and currently are faced with in post revolutionary Iran when trying to teach, to study and live a normal life in a country that has taken away most rights from woman. The courage with which these woman act and try to gain as much freedom as possible, always risking to be reprimanded, imprisoned, tortured, raped and killed is astonishing.
The authors voice in her reading adds authenticity and color and allows the reader introspection into a world otherwise unattainable to the Western eye. 😍
