Westly:

I felt so terrible for West. He had to sacrifice his NFL career to take care of his siblings bc their parents sudden death. Barely 30 years old and a guardian to like 6 kids while grieving his parents and his career. I really felt for him. Jasper has his own baggage, bc he was badly bullied in high school. These two might have started off on the wrong foot but shit got hot and heavy really fast. Also the way Jasper helped West with his siblings and just seemed to fit with them, was amazing.
Every book in this series was a solid 5 star read for me. The narrators were, as always, great.

A great ending to the series

Von allen fünf Büchern ist das hier mein Favorit. Ich liebe die Dynamik der Charaktere untereinander. Ob nun die beiden Hauptcharaktere Westley und Jasper oder auch zwischen den Dalton Brüdern. Die Probleme einer Familie die man jung übernehmen muss, weil die Eltern früh verstorben sind, sind realistisch und genau so wie ich mir solch ein Chaos vorstellen würde.
Vor allem als neues Mitglied in eine Familie zu kommen und zu hoffen akzeptiert, vielleicht sogar geliebt zu werden, ist sehr treffend dargestellt. Jasper hat es somit auch nicht leicht aber ist ein toller Partner für Westley, denn jeder Mensch braucht einen Fels in der Brandung.

Außerdem liebe ich Iggy Toma und Alexander Cendese zusammen. Ich freue mich schon darauf zweite Bücher mit ihnen zu hören.
