Great book, creepy and nail biting
I love the DI Callanach series by Helen Fields (still hoping that it has not yet come to an end), I thought that The Shadow Man was decent, so was The Institution (although Dr Connie Woolwine is no DCI Ava Turner nor a DI Luc Callanach replacement for me), I thoroughly disliked The Last Girl to die.
So I really like Helen Fields, Profile K though is notch up from her previous work: I was drawn in from the first second and could not stop listening for hours. The story is creepy, suspenseful, at times really difficult to digest. Helen Fields made me jump with every new man introduced during the book as I was so worried that he was a creep and a showdown would come pretty soon… Good books do that to people - and this book is close to be simply superb. Read extremely well by Jess Niesling.
