Über diesen Titel

A decade in the future, humanity thrives in the absence of sickness and disease. We owe our good health to a humble parasite - a genetically engineered tapeworm developed by the pioneering SymboGen Corporation. When implanted, the tapeworm protects us from illness, boosts our immune system - even secretes designer drugs. It's been successful beyond the scientists' wildest dreams.

Now, years on, almost every human being has a SymboGen tapeworm living within them. But these parasites are getting restless. They want their own lives... and will do anything to get them.

Sorry, but this is simply one of the most boring books ever!

-Spoiler-

It took me about one third of the book to be sure that she's a parasite herself. -and that might be due to the fact that i wasn't listening properly because it's simply so boringly told. the story hardly progresses at all, she describes lots of useless things, going round in circles and thereby the characters hardly evolve. if you look at it from this perspective, maybe it's genious. anyway, i really didn't like the book in itself and it being an audiobook only made matters worse because i couldn't skip the boring stuff (which was nearly everything anyway) so all in all: don't read it. If you want to read sth like it, ur better of with "The Host" by Stephanie Mayer (which is in fact better than her twilight books, i you ask me)

booooooring
