Brilliant

I've never been to the Ozarks (or anywhere else in the USA for that matter) but I felt I was there: i felt I knew the country and the people. They seemed absolutely real to me, The story is deep and compelling, does not lack emotion and tension, and gives a lot of food for thought. Having the author read the story made it all the better. The right voice, the right accent, the right atmosphere.
