The library once stood proud as a beacon of magic and power. For five hundred years, it has been broken.

Quinn can barely handle her own life. When the Library of Everywhere discovers her compatible magical signature, suddenly, she is the sole existing potential librarian. Now, it's not only the weight of her world on her shoulders—Quinn must connect with the library system before the universe itself disintegrates.

Once she's settled, it should be quiet, peaceful work—just as soon as she battles a few engorged bookworms, repairs hundreds of years of damage, and figures out why there's been no librarian for the last several centuries.

And once that's done she can start gathering overdue books. All 18,042 of them to start.

There'll be a helluva lot of late fees to process.

Amazing Story

it is actually the first book i had to slow down because i found it to fast but apart from that it is wonderfully spoken and written as well. I loved every bit of the story and I could not stop listening. I loved the story idea of that magical library. Which needs desperately help. It has everything in it i love from a good story also the fact that at first you can absolutely not tell where that story is going.

So from me a definite recommendation for this book. My compliments to the author i hope for many more amazing books like this one in the series.
I am actually already on book 2 and it is just as good as the first one.

Genuinely good; just lower the audio speed

The story is great and well-paced.
The narrator's performance is amazing, though maybe a bit too fast. I ended up listening to this at 85% speed and had a really nice listening experience. :)

Great fantasy story for a bibliophile

Those who like books, fantasy and exploring a library as much as I do will LOVE this story!
Narration is great, albeit a little fast at times (especially in the beginning). But slowing to 0.9× speed works like a charm 😉
