Was für ein Debüt Roman! Ich bin super begeistert und hoffe, dass noch mehr Bücher von dieser Person geschrieben werden.
Für Fans von Jane Austin, die aber auch gerne Fantasy & Sci-Fi-Einflüsse haben (ohne dass diese überwältigend oder unrealistisch sind), ist diese Geschichte super geeignet. Die Hauptfigur ist eine sympathische, feministische, intelligente Frau, die von der Sprecherin wirklich gut getragen wird. Die Handlung hat eine sehr schöne Geschwindigkeit und Tiefe, die Figuren sehr lebendig und nachvollziehbar.

Wow, was für eine Geschichte, die - auch wenn sie durchaus ihre Längen hatte - mich super mitgenommen hat. Vor allem zum Schluss sehr spannend, und ein kleiner Twist auch dabei. Würde gern mehr von McGill lesen.
