Entertaining stories of many varieties!
I really enjoyed the stories! All of them were scary but in completely different ways! I really enjoyed the narration and acting. The music and sound effects were very nice but I would have liked them to be quieter. I only have about 30% hearing on my left ear so it made it hard to understand him sometimes. in some of these stories the music in the intense parts got louder and louder to build suspense (which I did like) but sometimes the music was louder than the narrator. Otherwise I have no complaints at all!

Not what I expected
Some of the stories were good but others unusually boring. Normally I like King's stories.

no children of the corn
The boogeyman, I know what you need, strawberry spring, Gray matter, the woman in the room, battleground, graveyard shift, the man who loved flowers, the last rung on the ladder, night surf,Jerusalems Lot, the lawnmower man,sometimes they come back, Quitters Inc., the ledge, the mangler das sind die hier enthaltenen Storys. Weder I am the doorway, noch trucks und vor allem kein children of the corn... Leider konnte ich vorab über audible keine Angabe zu den enthaltenen Geschichten bekommen. Hab ich was übersehen?? Der Sprecher ist aber sehr sehr gut, so dass ich zum Schluss zwar etwas enttäuscht war, aber getröstet durch seine Hingabe an den Inhalt...wo bekomme ich jetzt die children of the corn her?

Incomplete
Warning: This is not a complete reading of Night Shift. Stories like "I am the Doorway" are left out. What a shame. This stretches the term "unabridged"...
Update: I see they're calling it "Selections" now. That's much more appropriate, but still not a very good deal.

Horrible production
Whose idiotic idea was it to put cheesy dramatic music and sound effects in an audio book, occasionally loud enough to drown out the speaker' voice? What an annoying mess.
