interesting story
as entertaining as the 1st book. i really like the 4 main characters and their stories.
also this audiobook concludes the short story 'Change of Pace'. its a story about the 4 main characters and kades mother, who comes for a visit.

I'm a fan
I bought the book when it was published and later got the audio, too. Even after this long time I still like to listen to the story once in a while, since the characters their development and story are believable and interesting to follow. My only disappointment every time is that I would love to learn more about Kade and Del.
It's great that the sequel novella "Change of pace" is included in this audio book.
And Abby Craden did a wonderful narration.

Too little Book time for Kade and Del
Wow, I had been so much looking forward to a book all about Kade Matheson I knew from the first part. This book seemed to be a Regina Mills fangirl's dream. But to be honest I'm seriously disappointed.
When I was at chapter 3 only and 2 out of three, they were about Dawn and Aiden again, it wasn't such a good start... I was so relieved when the first book was over and I could finally learn more about Kade and Del!
While I like that Jae's secondary characters are well developed and likeable, and I do apreciate that they're not forgotten in the story, it's a bit much. The story in itself is well thought thorough and there was suspense until the end.
However, the overwhelming presence of Dawn and Aidan continues thoughout the whole book. Don't get me wrong, the story around the ice queen Kade and Del is great. They are beautiful complex characters and I would so loved to have more of them. There are easily four or five sex scenes of Dawn and Aiden, but only - admittedly hot- kissing scene and one sex scene of Kade and Del. The thing that I found downright disturbing was that Kade's first time is followed by scene of Dawn and Aiden making love. Ugh! Such a mood killer!
All in all I think that the book would have been a lot better and more exciting and sexy if it had really concentrated on Kade and Del. I'm left really disappointed.
