pretty but boring

the narration was Solid. These two cannot do much wrong. the story though Was..mediocre. it started as a one night stand than turnen hate- to-love story. the hate Portion was so random and was mostly annoying and avoidable. both MCs were unlikeable. they both had massive Chips on their shoulders and tried to up one another. As doctors they acted totaly unprofessionell and petty. I woudnt have wanted either of them as my doctor. Evan tried to Insert his authority and Dominance by being rude, intimidatibg and obnoxious. and Emily tried to Insert her competence and superiority through breaking rules and disregarding Established chains of command on day one on the Job. then of course it was all about sexual Frustration that they banged out in some on-call room. then after 30% of that the flip Switches and then they both get so syrupy sweet. they war non stop poetics about and moon over each other. For the Sake of some tension, a Stalker is Thrown in, which is resolved some chapters later. and then ther were still 2 Hours(!!) to go where nothing happens - which is basically 4-5 Chapters of epilogue. I dare you to Play a drinking game after the Switch flips. you take a shot everytime somthing or someone is p e r f e c t!!!! can you hear my eyes rolll. I dont mind that it is a story you have read many times but it amazes me that some manage to turn the same story into magic and others only tell a pretty one without much Substance. xoxo
