This is the story of „Rebecca“ with the names of „Pride and Prejudice“. There should be more differences to be a story of its own.

... with the ludicrous villains. But at the same time a very enjoyable Lizzy B. She matured in a believable way. Darcy was also a good version. Not the rage monster he is in too much of the variations.

The sisters and other characters also had satisfying alternative histories.

So overall an entertaining variation.

This book is well written and beautifully read but most depressing except for the epilogue.
