A great way to revisit Agatha Christie's much loved characters and such sumptuous depictions of Christmas.

So warming and gentle

Die Geschichten sind hier ganz großartig vorgetragen - die Sprecherin Fenella Woolgar hat eine sehr angenehme Stimme, sie erzählt lebendig, übertreibt aber niemals, so dass die Geschichte und nicht die Sprecherin im Vordergrund steht. Dabei hat sie eine saubere, klare Aussprache, auch wenn sie Dialekt spricht. Es gibt zum Glück einige herausragende britische Sprecherinnen und Sprecher, denen ich gut zuhören kann. Fenella Woolgar ist aber ein toller neuer Fund für mich. Die Geschichten sind teilweise bekannt und auch in Fernsehserien verfilmt worden, dennoch kann ich das immer wieder hören, wenn ich ganz unkomplizierte Unterhaltung wünsche. Mir hat das Hörbuch sehr sehr gut gefallen.

die Geschichten sind zu kurz um Wirkung oder Atmosphäre zu haben. Der Plot ist belanglos . ein Wetterbericht vorgetragen mit Akzent hätte die gleiche Wirkung. Kein representatives Werk für Agatha Christie
