After falling deeply in love with these characters in the previous books, I was over the moon when I learned about this new entry. Still, I wasn't really sold on the premise or thought I really needed it, after the first two books tied the story up so neatly. It didn't took me long though to get sucked in again and I started to love these grownup versions of the characters even more than the old ones.

Lori Prince does some of her best work here, and that is saying something! The way she gives every character a unique, recognizable and very entertaining voice ist marvelous and examplary for the work of a voice actor and narrator. I heard many successive audio book narrators that don't even come close to her skills.

The only regret I had about this book, was that, even with a considerable runtime, it still ended too soon. I would have loved to just go one and follow these characters through the years. However, the end we get is absolutely perfect, so no regrets there.

I can't recommend this book enough. And since it somewhat rewrites history, you don't even need to have read all the other books in the series, even though I really recommend them just as much. If you're looking for lesbian and queer romance novels, it doesn't get any better than this series.

The Sequel I didn't knew I needed

My favorite out of Haley Casses book. I love the two main characters Charlotte and Sudden. Their love story is beautiful, Definitely a book you can read or listen multiple times :)

When I saw that there was another “Those Who Wait” audiobook, I bought it immediately.

It's another very long audiobook, but it never gets boring, and Lori Prince as a narrator does a terrific job again. And the story itself... what can I say? It's lovely. It's such a great idea to give a seemingly complete story a “what if” sequel.

Sutton and Charlotte have both grown since their last encounter, so this novel isn't just a sequel. It's a whole new story with new challenges that the two of them have to overcome... but also with quite a few other supporting characters we already know.

As I do with every Book by Haley Cass and narration Lori Prince, I really enjoyed this audio book.

Both main characters hold a Special Place in my Heart.
I do have to say that a few Moments fehlt a bit out of place or forced. Over all this a Great Addition to the „Those who wait“ Universe!
