Two tortured pasts, lots of secrets and one murderer in a small town in Maine

4,5 stars for Reed and Jayne

Initially sent to Huntsville, Maine on the hunt for a reclusive artist, Jayne gets attached to former detective Reed Kimball. Also unfortunately, a crazy stranger becomes attached to her. One dead young man and three more people in danger to be part of an obscure ancient ritual.

This was a fast paced and very layered story with a multitude of suspects. While I was early to pick the right name, I was so unsure all through the read. Changed my opinion multiple times and still got it right only at the very end. Loved the main characters and hope we stay in Huntsville together with layne's brothers. Because this book is not my last read in the series.
