I'm one scrappy wizard.

I barely manage to flee, but the only supernatural willing to help me is Killian Drake - the most feared vampire in the region, and a far more deadly villain than the jerk threatening my family.
Is Killian sexy and charismatic? Heck yeah.
He's also so powerful that my flight or fight instincts kick in every time our eyes meet. And he's definitely using me as his personal magic detector in his feud against the local fae.
But Killian is also the first person to believe I might have more than just a scrap of magic. And if I can convince him to train me, I might get strong enough to free my family and get my house back.
I'm not sure what happens when a scrappy wizard is taught how to fight by a hall of deadly vampires, but I'm about to find out.
Magic Forged is the first book in the completed Hall of Blood and Mercy trilogy. It takes place in the Magiford Supernatural City universe and features vampires, wizards, fae, and werewolves! This trilogy is packed with humor, adventure, and a sweet, slow burn romance between a vertically challenged wizard and the most lethal vampire in town.

Amazing all in all!
Very thrilling voice acting, it seems absolutely lifelike! And the story is really interesting. I especially love all the teasing between the characters and a FL that says what's on her mind (while also being careful) is my favorite!

Wizards, vampires, and magical shenanigans
Damn, this was hilarious! If you're looking for a quick and fun paranormal series, look no further!
I’m so happy to be in a YA mood lately because I was scared that the genre wouldn’t be for me anymore. While I prefer adult books & good spice, I sometimes get burned out by them and need a break.
This Series so was fun! I loved everything, but especially the characters were a highlight!
I LOVED the FMC, Hazel, and all the hilarious situations she gets into. The MMC, Killian, is also so freaking priceless. That guy pushed her off the 3rd flood because he was BORED! Gosh, I love him 😂
If you’re looking for something that gets you out of a reading slump or you need a pick-me-up then I think this is the series for you!

Fun read!
This was a fun read. The world building is done very well, the races are in many ways familiar and yet K. M. Shea puts her own unique spin on them to make it interesting and fresh. The characters are handled similarly; the female lead is strong and sarcastic (which is kind of a trope for this genre) but also feels genuinely warm, smart and is a hard worker that I can actually admire. The vampire lord is reserved and mysterious but has a unique sense of humor. The plot was handled really well, too, and I was kept engaged the whole time.
The narrators are great. Alister Austin doesn’t get to read much but his voice is smooth and perfect for the role and he portrays the aloof vampire well. And Natalie Duke is amazing at acting without over acting - she brought so much life to Hazel and made even small pieces of dialogue sound like an actual conversation (as opposed to a narrator just reading out loud), it was perfect!

Lieber selber lesen.
Die Geschichte ist interessant und gut erzählt aber die Narratoren verderben das Ganze.
Fast das ganze Buch wird von Natalie Duke gelesen. Ich will nicht sagen, dass ihre Stimme nervt aber ich hätte viele der gesprochenen Dialoge mit einer anderen Betonung gesprochenen. Ihre Art nimmt der ganzen Geschichte die Atmosphäre.
Alister Austin ist nicht viel besser.
