was okay
McKay is a very talented author. I've read/listened to all of her books. I really like the first book the headmistress but I am disappointed with this one. it feels like I was sold the same book twice with the second one only having very little changes. most dialogues are exactly the same as in the first book, so I fail to see how this one is a "different pov or Magdalene's pov". After the first book I was hoping to have some gaps filled but that didn't happen, the story focuses on the same events with very little additional content about Magdalene Nox. I expected more :(

Nice change of view
I already liked the „original“ story (The Headmistress“ and listened to it twice but this is actually nicer. I can listen to the story again, which is comforting and still have some change.
