The charakters and the storyline were amazing but please be aware that the story containes multipe disturbing and highly triggering scenes. For the sake of not giving spoilers I will just say everything that you can think of.
Please be mindfull and if you are just recovering or in the middle of any kind of condition or any kind of abuse please just think twice before listening into this.
This book can be healing and give you strength but it is also very explicit with the containig trauma and might make you relive traumatising situations and unhealthy thinking patterns.
Take care of yourselfs

I absolutely loved the characters and representation of characters with various problems. However I have to agree with the other reviewers, a few trigger warnings would have been good. The story and character dynamics are absolutely thrilling and the performance is *chefs kiss* amazing!

Honestly didn't expect much since it was available for free but holy moly did I love it! The book has great characters with realistic growth and development and an interesting and heartfelt story. Big big recommendation!!
Despite all that greatness I wanted to give everyone multiple trigger warnings though (which also brings some spoilers so read with care) including:

death (loss of a parent), terminal cancer, rape, eating disorder, depression, self-hate, mental and physical abuse, alcoholism and cheating

Nothing is described in great detail but you should know this is not always lighthearted and funny but deals with very serious problems! Still please don't let of all these things stop you from listening to this story!! Again small spoiler:

Every character gets what they deserve and it has a happy ending.

and at times so witty and funny and heartfelt.
This is such a powerful story.
It shows so well that we need darkness to fully appreciate light.
To see the monsters and defeat them, while knowing that they just keep coming at times.
Joel Leslie did a marvellous job.
Keep the warnings in mind.
The book is so worth to read or listened to, if you can.
