Not well done

Unfortunately, this is not a good resource.
The reasons:

- It is sometimes difficult to distinguish the first sound of a word, which I suspect is an editing error.
Even with the English part I sometimes had to guess if the word was “take”, “make” or “bake”, but of course, it is worse with the Turkish part, that I’m supposed to be learning. How can I if I cannot hear the word correctly?

- Some of the example sentences are kind of absurd if this is supposed to be for beginners. I don’t want to go back to listen to it all over again, but if I remember correctly, there was “Human progress has been going on for thousands of years.” and “The sultan has commanded it.” Oh, and, “I’m wearing glasses because my eyes are bad.” Duh.

- I was surprised that they included possessive pronouns in the “adjectives" section.

- The biggest problem for me is the fact that they don't take into account the structure of the Turkish language, which is totally different from English. For example: One of the first things that is introduced is the verb “olmak”, presented as “to be”, as if it you could always translate this word by word. But “to be” is used very seldom in Turkish.
Or, sometimes, a new word is introduced, like “he” = “o”. The following example sentence includes the word “he” in English, but it doesn’t actually include “o” in Turkish, because Turkish just expresses the same idea in a very different way.

All in all, I really do not recommend this product. Get the introduction by Earworms instead, or the free one over at Language Transfer.

Super aufgebaut

Falls man gut englisch spricht, wird hier der Türkische Satzbau schrittweise erklärt. Erst ein Wort, dann der halbe Satz, dann der ganze Satz. Sehr hilfreich nach dem man das erste Hörbuch für Türkisch lernen durch hat.

Step by Step explanation of Turkish sentences. Very usefull as second audio book to learn turkish
