A very well summarised, quick overview of the history of the Korean peninsula.

This book really helped me understand many of the peculiarities of Korean culture today as well as just how incredibly fast the development of South Korea has progressed since the division. It also made me realise once again that a lot of conflict could have been avoided had western “allies” acted differently.
