Auch die Fülle von spritzigen, aktuellen und brisanten Ideen ist ebenso erheiternd wie schockierend, und die von Max Barry dargestellte Welt von Morgen wirkt realistisch und schrecklich nah.
Leider verliert die Geschichte schnell an Zug, und der lust- und variantenlose Sprecher schafft es zwar, einigen der Figuren etwas Farbe zu verleihen, kann dem Buch aber keinen Charakter oder Spannung geben.
Ich habe es nur bis zur Hälfte geschafft, bis ich es nach mehreren Versuchen aufgeben musste. Schade, der Autor ist eigentlich vielversprechend.
