I love it when the female MC is strong, not just because she got fancy magic, but rather because she is intelligent and has a backbone to do what needs to be done. Go you, D’Artagnan!

I generally enjoy Harper’s work and Urquart is an excellent narrator BUT there’s a constant background noise to the the recording that drives me crazy, so I can’t give a five star review, much as I’d have liked to.

ich hatte das erste Buch auf deutsch gehört und war entsetzt, dass es noch keine weiteren Bücher aus der Serie gibt. Dann habe ich zum Glück herausgefunden, dass es sie im Original bereits gibt und habe das zweite Buch auf englisch gehört: ich bin genauso begeistert wie vom ersten Buch. Beide Sprecherinnen sind perfekt und ich freue mich auf das dritte Buch, welches ich umgehend herunterladen werde

had i read this book instead of listening to it i think i would have enjoyed the story. but the vouce of Ruth was not to my liking. i found the constant reminder of the law and being a member of the police was really annoying. i wont be following this story. which is a shame as i love Helens work.

great story. Avoid Audible.
