This was the first time I tried the Audiobook for I'm in Love with the Villainess, having read Vol. 1-3 on my own.
It took some time to get used to Courtney Shaws voice for me, but I have to say her performance here is really top tier.
The way she varies the voices and accents for the different characters really gives alot of life to them and offers an experience you most likely won't get while reading on your own.

As far as the story goes: After Volume 1 and the End of the revolution the story took alot of turns and has developed far beyond the "Villainess theme". What stays are the politcal aspects and Rae fawning over Claire every chance she gets.
We get alot of new characters in the Nur Empire and many of them are just as interesting as our two main heroines, keeping the story fresh and interesting.

The character's development is really a strong suit of this series and in my opinion Claire's is the most fascinating if you have been reading the story from the start and keep beeing reminded how different she used to act and think.
I am looking foreward to catching up with Vol. 5, witnessing how the story will play out.
