Having grown up in Alabama, I found the story so heartwarming and full of laughs. If you enjoy a good story about life and in this case, as a senior citizen, you will love Fannie Flagg's characters. Good values are a virtue and learning to deal with age are part of the story. I was happy to have the author read her story and loved her accent which was so suitable to it all. The best audio book I've listened to.
